The value for money at this place was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The location was perfect, with a quiet and hip neighborhood that was still close to the city center. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even better.
The morning meal could use some improvement, maybe adding more variety to the menu.

The staff and owners who ran the place made all the difference! They were informative, friendly and had so much passion for what they did. Breakfasts were delicious and beds were so comfortable. It really can be classified as a luxury hostel with a touch of home at a really resonable price too. Lovely interaction spaces, walking tours and activities every night so we could meet people. The location is amazing, on Rua Miguel Bombarda, Porto's art gallery street with eclectic shops and cafes at every corner. Loved it! Best hostel I ever stayed in!

As for the value for money, I couldn't have asked for a better deal. The room was spacious and comfortable, and having my own bathroom was a definite plus. The location in Cedofeita was beautiful and convenient, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there were more variety in the pastries.

With a family of 4 , we had a huge room at the top floor. It was brand new, nicely decorated and had a beautiful and practical bathroom and very good bunk beds. Also the common area's ( nternet room, bar and kitchen ) were equally clean and pleasant to stay. Great value for money. And to top that .. a friendly staff and great service. We'll be back.

The hotel design was really cool and cozy. It had a great vibe and everything was clean and relaxing. the bed was super comfortable and they even provided fresh towels and changed the sheets daily. the balcony in our room overlooking the backyard was a nice bonus. the receptionist gave us fantastic recommendations and was really friendly. the breakfast spread was amazing with a wide variety of options, especially the delicious fruit bowls and croissants. Lastly, having a water filter was a nice touch and saved us from buying bottled water.
The AC in the all-female dorm room made strange noises that kept me from getting a good night's sleep. It would have been better if there were curtains on the beds for more privacy.

Gallery Hostel was by far the best hostel we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was delicious & for 10 euro the dinner was a steal (not to mention SO good)!! We have already recommended the hostel to other travellers we have met in Lisbon & will continue to do so!
